Sullivan students learn leadership skills

BONSALL – Three members of the Sullivan extension of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North County were privileged to attend the Taco Bell Leadership Conference in Escondido on Jan. 22 and Jan. 23 at the Mitchell Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego.

In between great physical team building activities, they attended workshops designed to teach them how to set goals for life and achieve their dreams.

This all tied in to the conference theme of “I Can,” helping them to realize that if they have something they really want to do, through setting attainable goals and working with others, they can reach their biggest dreams!

“They had a great time, and are very thankful that the Taco Bell Corporation sponsored the conference and allowed them to have the opportunity!” said Larilyn Irvine, Bonsall Unit Director.
