Car Club donates to Youth Baseball

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club (FCVV) recently made a donation to the Fallbrook Youth Baseball organization. The funds will go towards field maintenance and improvements. The Fallbrook Youth Baseball organization provides a safe, fun place for the children of the community to play baseball.

The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club is a very active group of car enthusiasts who meet monthly on the last Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Fallbrook Women’s Club at 238 W. Mission. Admission is free and the public is always welcome. Following a short business meeting there is always a presentation by some local resident on a subject of interest to the membership.

On Sunday, May 30, the FVCC will stage its 45th consecutive annual vintage car show on the grounds at Potter Jr. High on Reche Road. There will be vendor booths, a used car corral, breakfast and lunch available and judging for some 300 vintage cars. Proceeds from the show are used to support local charities throughout the year.
