FALLBROOK – Ms. Leonard’s second-third grade combination class in the Iowa Street Core program has been learning about energy. One type of energy they studied was sound waves. Some students in the class made a homemade “telephone” and took it outside to see if we could actually talk to each other from distances reaching to 15 feet!

Students were excited to find that the phones worked and they could hear the person at the other end of the line.
