FALLBROOK – When the Fallbrook Historical Society included the Reche schoolhouse in its first group of buildings on its historical registry, it accomplished a goal the club had been working toward for a long time. Previous attempts through County channels failed. The Fallbrook Historical Registry recognizes the one-room schoolhouse that was built in 1896 and operated until 1939. A plaque recognizing its historical significance was recently installed. The building is owned by the Reche Community Service Club.
