"Fame" comes to Fallbrook

FALLBROOK – “Fame” is coming to the Mission Theatre stage from March 12 to 21. In a classic life-imitating-art situation, many of the talented actors in Fallbrook Players’ production of “Fame” are, in essence, playing themselves.

“Many of these actors are hoping to pursue the performing arts in college and beyond, and some are undergoing the audition process of a performing arts high school in Orange County right now,” said Jane Stimmel, producer for Fallbrook Players’ production of “Fame.” “This is some serious talent that has gathered from all over North County and Riverside County. The audience will walk away from this production in awe of what these performers are capable of,” she added.

“Not only has the interest in this show been enormous amongst teens, but also with the older generation who grew up with “Fame.” We are suggesting that patrons purchase their tickets early as “Fame” is only playing for two weekends and we do not want the tickets to be sold out for people who really want to see this show,” Stimmel said. “So many people were unable to get a ticket for “CATS” and we anticipate the same type of response for “Fame”” she added.

Tickets are available at

http://www.FallbrookPlayers.com and at the Mission Theatre Box Office, or by calling (760) 731-2278.
