Democratic Club to host candidate forum

FALLBROOK - Laurenn Barker, Fallbrook resident, will be the first of five speakers at the candidate forum being held at the Democratic Club meeting March 4 at Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 E. Mission Rd. Although Barker is not running for office, she is a concerned citizen who has knowledge about environmental issues because of her many years as public relations director for a national firm of engineers and environmental scientists who dealt with projects similar to the Liberty Quarry. She will be speaking on the potential adverse effects to the environment by the Liberty Quarry.
