Numerous showers continue with isolated thunderstorms, strong wind

SAN DIEGO - A storm that brought more than an inch and a half of rain to the mountains of San Diego County today was expected to continue tonight with brief, scattered showers, according to the National Weather Service.

The storm is moving east fast, and still carries a threat of isolated thunderstorms, strong winds and dangerous boating conditions.

The weather is expected to clear tomorrow afternoon, but a high surf advisory remains in effect until Monday morning.
