CROP Walk set to go March 21

FALLBROOK – The 19th annual Fallbrook CROP Walk will be held on Sunday, March 21. Registration starts at 1 p.m. with the walk beginning at 1:30 at the Fallbrook Food Pantry, 1042 South Mission Road.

More than 400 people walked last year on the five kilometer (3.2-mile) walk in downtown Fallbrook to celebrate their love and care for those in need. They have helped save hundreds of lives and affected thousands in over 80 countries.

All are invited to spend an hour and a half that Sunday walking through beautiful Fallbrook with fellow citizens who are concerned with helping needy families. Walkers can sponsor themselves or get friends and neighbors to sponsor them.

Sponsor packets can be picked up at the Pantry, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be food, water and free t-shirts for all who raise $50 or more.

Information will be available about advocacy organizations that fight hunger. For more information, visit http://www.Fallbrookfoodpantry.org or call the Food Pantry at (760) 728-7608, or Jeff Bolduc at (619)750-1487.
