Vandalism is shameful

I am writing this letter to express my concerns regarding the vandalism that has occurred along the Pico Promenade.

First, I wish to commend the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance for their efforts in cleaning, painting and decorating the Promenade walkway. I am especially impressed with their landscaping and use of the large rocks along the trail. My wife and I walk the Promenade frequently and enjoy the new look.

However, I must speak out to condemn the vandalism that has taken place after the FBA landscaping efforts.

It seems that Fallbrook has a criminal element that cannot nor will not allow improvements in the community. Lately I have noticed that many of the decorative boulders along the Promenade have been pushed down into the creek. Also, the local graffiti artists are hard at work marking everything that doesn’t move.

It is shameful that a few individuals with no social conscience can cancel or obliterate the beautification efforts along the Pico Promenade. Where is their community pride?
