FALLBROOK – Many welcomed local candidates at the March Democratic Club. The forum was led with a discussion on the impending Liberty Quarry by Fallbrook resident Laurenn Barker followed by several candidates’ speeches, including Howard Katz for U.S. Congress, Paul Clay for California Senate, Douglas Dye for State Assembly and Fabio Marchi for Board of Supervisors.
The next meeting will be held at the Fallbrook Public Utilities District, 990 E. Mission Road, at 7 p.m. on April 1. The meeting will have speakers from the Boys and Girls Club of Fallbrook as well as a discussion on The California Fair Elections Act led by Sharlene and Jim Hamilton of Oceanside, who will present a video.
