FALLBROOK – In light of the recent tragedies involving North County teens, the Fallbrook Substation of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Dept. will host an informative Personal Safety Seminar on Thursday evening, April 8 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Fallbrook High School’s Bob Burton Theatre, 2400 S. Stagecoach Lane.

Tips and guidelines on personal safety will be presented by Corporal Debbie Eglin, a core defensive tactics instructor for the San Diego Regional Law Enforcement Training Center.

Fallbrook Sheriff’s Substation Commander Lt. Phil Brust said the seminar has been organized in response to the tragedies of Chelsea King and Amber Dubois. While it is especially valuable for teens, the seminar is open to the public and designed for all ages.
