Young Fallbrook artists win awards in five-county art show

Jessica was unable to attend the Awards Ceremony for her second-place award at the five-county level because she was playing with her basketball team at their championship play-offs.

FALLBROOK – On March 21, youth from all over Southern California showcased their artwork at Sage High School in Newport Coast. Each work in the show was an award winner from Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside or San Diego counties.

Jessica Aguigui won second place in the third through fifth grade category on her watercolor and oil pastel work entitled “Nature’s Odyssey.”

Veronica Romero won third place in the kindergarten through second grade category on her glue line pastel drawing named “Wild Horse.”
