Lobster-on-the-Green grant awards begin

FALLBROOK – The Rotary Club of Fallbrook began its grant awards, made possible by their annual Lobster-on-the-Green fundraiser, by awarding checks to five local community non-profit organizations. Checks were presented during a special ceremony as part of the weekly meeting.

Recipients were Southern Caregivers Resource Center; $600; Trauma Intervention Program (TIP,) $500; Fallbrook Beautification Alliance, $1,200; Fallbrook High School Madrigals, $500; and Rally for Children, $500.

Making the presentations were Community Service Director Betsey Levering assisted by RI Foundation Director Connie Fish. Grant awards from the Lobster fundraiser will be given to a total of 25 organizations at various Fallbrook Rotary Club meetings during the next few months.
