FALLBROOK – On Sunday, April 24, when Rally for Children presents its 16th annual Arts in the Park event at Live Oak Park, exciting new events will be added.
A free, family event, Arts in the Park will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year it will include Intertribunal American Native Drum and Dancers with a special Indian information program; Birch Aquarium, which will bring along tide pool animals; Skyhunters bringing birds of prey and educating about raptor behaviors; Rainbow Valley Grange with llama, goats, and more; two different science projects from the San Diego Education Department, and Lavender Hill School which will offer audience participation instant theater.
These events are in addition to the traditional puppeteer magician, stage performances, hands on arts and crafts activities managed by the PTA’s and many other local volunteer organizations.
Free parking for the event is available at Potter Jr. High, Maie Ellis Elementary and Live Oak schools.
