Musical lineup for Bonsallpalooza 2010 announced

BONSALL – The Bonsall Education Foundation is pleased announce the performers for its second annual benefit concert, Bonsallpalooza 2010. The event will be held at the Pala Casino, Spa & Resort in Pala on June 5 at 5 pm.

Building on the success of last year’s event, the foundation was able to secure a musical line-up that includes rising star Amanda Stansky, the Tri-Cultural sounds of Carlos Olmeda, rock and roll by Old School, and Stepping Feet - The Dave Matthews Band Experience. The event opens with the Intertribal Bird Singers and will include dance and performances from the Sullivan Middle School Show Choir/Jazz Band.

Last year, the foundation raised close to $20,000 from the concert which allowed the administration to fund district-wide music education programs for all children, and enabled the formulation of fourth, fifth and sixth grade band classes. This year’s goal is to raise $30,000 and allow the existing programs to continue, and expand programs to support visual and performing art programs.

Pala Casino Spa & Resort has graciously partnered with the foundation again to ensure a world class venue for Bonsallpalooza 2010 and the event will be held in Pala’s 900 seat Grand Cabaret Room. Community and media sponsors in addition to Pala include: The Village News, KPRI, 102.1 FM Radio, Randy D. Carlson D.M.D/Charles L. Drury D.D.S.

Tickets for Bonsallpalooza 2010 are on sale now at, the Pala Privileges Center at Pala, and Sunday’s at the Bonsall Certified Farmers’ Market from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Bonsall River Village Shopping Center.

Bonsall School District Superintendent Justin Cunningham will be one of the performers in the VIP reception. For information about group sales and sponsorship packages, send an email to [email protected].
