Lowry and Mora named Potter's "Citizenship" Students of the Month

FALLBROOK – At a Rotary Club of Fallbrook weekly luncheon, Potter assistant principal Javier Escobedo introduced seventh grader Veronica Lowry and eighth grader Daniel Mora as Potter Jr. High Students of the Month for demonstrating outstanding citizenship.

Lowry was lauded for, “Not only completing her own school work in a timely manner, but also taking time to help others around her. She always makes a positive contribution to her classroom, her peers, and Potter Junior High.”

Of Mora it was noted, “He does assignments without fail then looks for extra things to help with when he is finished. He provides leadership to his peers and they look to him as a positive example. In addition to being enthusiastic about school, he is only the second student in his class in the past ten years to finish a grading period with 100 percent.”

Rotarian Janice Schultz presented both students with a certificate of achievement. The Student of the Month program is an ongoing effort by Fallbrook Rotary to encourage, recognize and reward students for outstanding achievement in citizenship as well as scholastics.
