FALLBROOK – Mrs. McGurk’s third grade class at Live Oak Elementary School performed in a patriotic musical, “Singing the Red, White and Blue,” on April 1 and 2.
Set in a classroom in present time, one student was unsure about many symbols of his country. The class was visited by Uncle Sam and The Statue of Liberty who explained many of the nation’s symbols. The class also learned about how this country’s diversity makes its people strong.
