Garden Club to hear about perpetual drought

FALLBROOK - Bill Toone will be the featured speaker at the May 25 meeting of the Fallbrook Garden Club. Tone will speak on “Our Perpetual Drought: A Global Perspective on the Water Crisis with a Focus on Local Solutions.”

He current serves as the executive director of Eco Life Foundation, resolving conflict between conservation needs and community needs.

Toone is an expert on rainwater collection, and will share tips on how to preserve this precious resource.

The meeting will be held at the Fallbrook Community Center, 341 Heald Lane, beginning at 12:30 p.m. (social), with the general meeting following at 1 p.m. The public is welcome. For more information, contact Constance at (760) 728-5597.
