School bands combine for concert

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook High School, Potter Junior High School and Fallbrook elementary bands will join forces for a Spring Band Concert at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 27 in the gymnasium at Fallbrook High School.

Students from the Fallbrook Elementary Beginning Band and Continuing Band, Potter Junior High School Bands and the Fallbrook High School Concert Band will be performing separate selections.

The concert will conclude with a combined rendition of “America” performed by all band students. The Elementary Band is under the direction of Phil Leonelli; the Potter Junior High School Band is under the direction of Darryl Buntin, and the Fallbrook High School Band is under the direction of Amy Thomas.

The concert is free to the public.
