Home clearance inspections coming

SAN DIEGO COUNTY – Disastrous grass and brush fires needlessly destroy homes in San Diego County each year. Cal Fire firefighters will be inspecting structures in their jurisdiction for violation of state and local fire laws.

In rural areas the law requires that brush be cleared at least 100 feet around all structures. Proper clearing around homes and buildings would save most of the homes lost in wildfires.

California can’t afford wildfires. Be fire safe, not sorry!...
