Fallbrook Chorale performs summer concert on June 12

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Chorale is busy putting the finishing touches on their summer concert titled “Just One of Those Things” to be presented on June 12 at 2 p.m. at the Bob Burton Performing Arts Center. This year’s concert will feature many of America’s well-loved folk, gospel, patriotic and show tunes arranged for performance by chorale groups by the acclaimed contemporary American composer Mark Hayes.

The concert will also feature a number of solos, duets, quartets, and small ensembles made up of members of the chorale. Joining the chorale once again will be the Fallbrook Youth String Ensemble under the direction of Barbara Martin. The Fallbrook Chorale, which has grown to more than 50 members, has been performing for the community for nearly two decades and is directed by Art Blodgett and accompanied by Jean Dixon.

General admission tickets are $15 and will be available at the door; advanced sale tickets are $12 and can be purchased at Major Market or from any chorale member. Student tickets are $8; active military and children younger than 12 who are accompanied by a paying adult will be admitted free of charge. For additional information, call (760) 390-9726.

The Bob Burton Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Fallbrook High School, 2234 S. Stage Coach Lane.
