Car club supports gymnastics program at Fallbrook High

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club (FVCC) recently made a donation to the Fallbrook High School Girls Gym Booster Club for help in purchasing new equipment, additional coaching help, updated scoring equipment, trophies and miscellaneous items.

This year the team had many first-time gymnasts, but by the end of the season, each team member was able to compete in all four events: bars, beam, floor and vault.

The team considers one of its major accomplishments this year to be achieving a higher team score than La Costa Canyon, which is one of the team’s strongest competitors in the league.

The FVCC will hold its 45th consecutive annual vintage car show on the grounds of Potter Jr. High School on Reche Road again this year on Sunday, May 30. Admission is always free and the hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

With 300 vintage cars on display, breakfast and lunch available and Elvis impersonator King Kruk entertaining, it will be an event that the entire family can enjoy.
