County allocates extra $20,000 for CSA 81 services and supplies

The midyear budget adjustments approved May 11 by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors included appropriating $20,000 of Community Service Area No. 81 fund balance for services and supplies for the Fallbrook area parks served by CSA No. 81.

The funding approved by the county supervisors’ 5-0 vote will maintain existing services and supplies level. County Service

Area 81, which covers parks in Fallbrook, DeLuz, and Rainbow,

derives its funding from a share of property tax revenue. The

decrease in property values created a shortfall in revenue which necessitated the use of the fund balance.
