Mitchell Albert Rolin

Mitchell Albert Rolin, 88, passed away May 25, 2010 in Riverside, Calif. He was born June 24, 1921 in San Francisco, Calif.

Mr. Rolin served in the United States Air Force for 32 years. He retired in 1974 as a pilot and a Colonel. He received a MBA from National University; he also worked as a real estate broker for 26 years.

Mr. Rolin enjoyed traveling, golf and doing volunteer work in the community. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Parish and School where he served as a member of the PTA, school board and with Californians for Drug Free Youth (CADFY). He was also a member of the Kiwanis and the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Francis Rolin of the home; two sons, Mitch Rolin of Alameda, Calif., and Steve Rolin of Arvada, Colo., and one daughter, Sandy Rolin of Portland, Ore. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Ashley and Nathan, and one niece, Diane Spurlock of Glendale, Calif.

On Saturday, May 29, 2010, a funeral Mass was held at Air Force Village West Chapel in Riverside, Calif. Burial followed at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego, Calif. Professional services were performed by Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary of Fallbrook.
