Fallbrook Senior Center cribbage team wins again

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Senior Center cribbage team has made winning in 2010 a habit with its fourth win of the year. The 45 player match saw Fallbrook win 82 games to Oceanside’s 79.

The top two finishers, both playing for Fallbrook, won all seven of their games. Second place finisher Lois Ash didn’t have a skunk, whereas Ed Wozniak had two skunks to take first place. The next four places went to members of the Oceanside team. In third was Carol Maston with six wins and a skunk. Next, with five wins and a skunk were Obie Weeks, Bill Metz and Jeanne Snoddy.

Mitzi Potwora won the $25 gift card donated by the Albertson’s store on Mission Avenue in Oceanside.

The monthly matches are held at the Vista Elks Lodge, 1947 E. Vista Way (760-724-1968) beginning at 12:30 p.m. The next match will be on May 27.
