Trauma Intervention Program needs volunteers

If you are considering volunteering to contribute your time to a worthwhile cause, our non-profit volunteer TIP group is looking for you. Ask any firefighter, paramedic or Sheriff’s Deputy in Fallbrook what they think of us.

Our Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) is a national non-profit group that is very active in Fallbrook. These emergency responders call us in on 911 events to be with the survivors of emergencies while they handle whatever the situation may be. We have a training academy starting on July 29 that teaches what is needed to handle such situations.

I live in Fallbrook and have been a member of TIP for five years. It has been the most personally gratifying experience of my life. I would like to invite you to check us out by visiting our website, http://www.tipsandiego.org or calling our office number, (760) 931-2104.

About half of our members are retired and the others work full time. It only requires three 12-hour duty days, at your convenience, each month. If you are interested in becoming involved in something that is challenging and rewarding, I would suggest you find out more about us in time to sign up for our July 29 academy.
