Larry Robinson and Friends in concert July 17

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Americana Music Series presents a return performance by artist Larry Robinson at the Fallbrook Woman’s Club July 17. Robinson, a long-time favorite Fallbrook performer, was a sellout at his 2008 FAMS concert.

“It’s with real pleasure that we bring him back,” said Phee Sherline, FAMS co-chairman. “There’s every reason to believe it will be a sellout again.”

California, Robinson’s home state, is the subject that inspires much of his music. As with his previous concert with FAMS, he is expanding his act to include son Evan Robinson on vocal, guitar and harmonica; Mark Burroughs on vocal and guitar; Tom Cunningham on mandolin and violin; and Tony Acevedo on vocal and piano.

Larry and Friends will appear July 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Fallbrook Woman’s Club, 238 West Mission. Tickets are sold at Major Market and the door, $15 for adults and $7 for kids ages 7 to 17. Call (760) 723-7255 for more information or email [email protected].
