Also serving the communities of De Luz, Rainbow, Camp Pendleton, Pala and Pauma
FALLBROOK – The Board of Directors of Legacy Endowment, The Community Foundation, has announced the appointment of Ms. Kimberly Moore as the foundation’s new executive director. Moore has replaced Tina Rainey, who headed up the organization for six years.
“Kimberly is uniquely equipped to bring donors and the causes they care about together,” says Legacy Endowment board president, Phil Delaney.
Moore has worked both domestically and abroad with overseas business and government groups, providing her with a clear perspective on social issues, as well as a proven history of small business promotion and development. She also brings to the table a broad range of nonprofit experience and a real heart for the community.
“I am excited about the opportunity to serve in this way,” said Moore. “Alongside our role supporting and strengthening our area’s nonprofit organizations, at Legacy Endowment, we also provide free information to individual donors on how to maximize their charitable dollar.
We work with donors, and their professional advisors, to help structure charitable gifts that last longer, and accomplish more for the causes they care about; or to reach objectives like preserving a lifetime stream of income for the donor, while making a charitable gift, and maximizing tax benefits at the same time.”
Moore holds a Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law, with accompanying studies in public policy. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and gardening, although her most recent adventure involves becoming a new mother.
Legacy Endowment is located at 235 E. Mission Road, Fallbrook, and can be reached by calling (760) 728-3304 or online at http://www.legacycommunityfoundation.org.
