Fence grows on the Pico Promenade

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Beautification Alliance is proud to recognize an Eagle Scout project by Cullen Leithin of Camp Pendleton Troop 789. Cullen, with support from his troop, recently installed 90 feet of split-rail fencing on the Pico Promenade.

Improving the Pico Promenade as a connecting pathway between the northern and southern business segments of Fallbrook has long been the goal of the Fallbrook Land Conservancy’s Save Our Forest group and the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance. This shaded, pedestrian-friendly path provides a pleasant walk for those seeking a little exercise while enjoying trees, birds and plants.

The addition of the split-rail fencing has been the latest improvement. Starting at Fallbrook St., two prior segments have been installed. With the third, it has almost reached Ash St. Other scouts who are working toward this goal are urged to call the Fallbrook Beautification Alliance.
