Lobster on the Green slated for Sept. 10

FALLBROOK – The Rotary Club of Fallbrook has announced the kick-off of ticket sales for the club’s 2010 Lobster on the Green annual fundraiser.

The event has enabled Fallbrook Rotary to fund more than $250,000 to local non-profit organizations and groups over the past seven years. Gates open at Ingold Sports Park on Olive Hill Road, Friday, September 10, at 5:30 p.m. for a fun filled evening of all-you-can-eat Maine lobster and steak fillet, live and silent auctions, and a variety of entertainers circulating among the guests on the grass. County Supervisor Bill Horn is the title sponsor of the event.

Tickets for the evening are $85 and can be purchased online at http://www.lobsteronthegreen.com and interested participants can make additional contributions and donations, or become a sponsor in a variety of ways online as well.

Rumor has it that a ride in a Russian MIG, a Carnival cruise, and a puppy will be some of the featured items in the live auction. For more information, visit http://www.fallbrookrotary.org.
