Fallbrook SeniorNet announces fall classes

FALLBROOK – Registration for nonprofit SeniorNet’s fall 2010 computer classes will be held on August 24, 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Foundation for Senior Care.

The following subjects will be offered: Family Tree Maker, Photoshop Elements, Digital Camera Fun, Beginning Computer, File Management using Windows 7, Windows Live Programs, Open Office Word Processing, Movie Maker and Photo Gallery.

The classes begin the week of August 30. Each weekly class lasts two hours and most classes are completed in eight weeks.

The Foundation for Senior Care, where registration and the classes are held, is located at 135 South Mission Road, across from the library at the corner of Fig and Mission.

The volunteers also conduct a free computer help lab each Friday afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Foundation SeniorNet lab. Well-qualified help is available for anyone who is having computer problems, needs assistance in ordering a new computer or needs digital camera assistance. No appointment is necessary, just stop by.
