Fallbrook Film Festival calls for entries

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Film Factory has announced the opening of entries for the 2011 Fallbrook Film Festival, to be held April 8, 9 and 10, 2011, at the Ultra-Star Cinemas – River Village Cinemas.

The fourth annual festival will again profile short and feature length narrative and documentary films, along with animation and student submissions. Prior festivals have included entries from six of the seven continents and the upcoming event anticipates an enhanced bevy of entertaining showpieces.

“We are thrilled to continue the tradition of The Frank Capra Award – the masthead of the Festival,” offered Ronald Shattuck, the festival’s creative director.

The Frank Capra Award is bestowed upon the film that emulates “the Capra spirit” in its cinematic journey.

“The winner of The Frank Capra Award will capture human betterment – perhaps in an uplifting, but maybe in a gritty, edgy or poignant fashion,” said Shattuck. This year’s Frank Capra Award winner will receive a check for $1,000, The Capra Award, room for two for two nights at a local participating resort, dinner for two at a sponsoring restaurant and two VIP passes to the festival.

The initial deadline for entries is 10/31/10. To learn more visit http://www.fallbrookfilmfestival.com, and go to 2011 Entry Rules.

The Fallbrook Film Factory, sponsoring entity of the Fallbrook Film Festival, is a cinematic consortium for actors, writers and directors.
