Fallbrook cribbage team continues perfect record

FALLBROOK – At the Senior Challenge Cribbage Match on July 22, at the Fallbrook Senior Center, the Fallbrook cribbage team won its seventh out of seven matches in 2010.

Eleven of the top twelve positions went to players on the Fallbrook team in the 39-player match to help give Fallbrook an 86 to 54 win.

Bill McGinness took first place by winning all seven games with two skunks. In second was Ed Wozniak with six wins and two skunks. The next three players – Tom Waterbury, Barb Sacic and Aljean Simpson – each had six wins without a skunk.

Ray Potwora won the $25 gift card donated by Albertsons store.

The monthly matches are held at the Vista Elks Lodge 1947 E Vista Way, (760) 724-1968 beginning at 12:30 p.m. The next match will be on August 26.
