FALLBROOK – A free Health, Mind & Body Expo will be offered to Village/Valley News readers this Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Elder House, 127 W. Elder St. in downtown Fallbrook. A child ID program will be offered for free by the Fallbrook Masonic Lodge, as well as emergency vehicles on display for kids.
Visitors to the expo will have the opportunity to hear interesting speakers, hear a variety of 15-minute seminars on various health-related topics, learn about cutting edge technologies, and speak with health care professionals. Information will be provided on a variety of health and beauty topics and nutritionists and personal trainers will be on hand to discuss how one can improve their quality of life. Children will enjoy an opportunity to see fire/emergency vehicles that will be on display.
The expo is designed to help area residents learn how to live a healthier life, be provided with educational resources, healthy treats and goodies to take home.
The San Diego Bloodmobile will be on hand to accept blood donations during the event.
More than 17 community partners are involved in the event, including Michelle's Place, Women's Breast Cancer Resource Center, San Diego Blood Bank, Innovative healthcare Consultants, Fallbrook Pharmacy, Southwest YMCA, Diabetes Project/Fallbrook, Smiles Project, Temecula Valley Cardiology, Coola Suncare, Body Detox - Wear 4 Health, Non-Transdermal Holographic Chips by Cie Aura, Costco, True-Health Chiropractic, Dr King, and more to be announced.
