Wilson legacy continues to benefit community

FALLBROOK – In 1907, the Boy Scouts organization was launched; the first helicopter went airborne and Elisabeth (Betty) S. Wilson was born. Like the Boy Scouts and the helicopter, Wilson continues to contribute to the fabric of North County culture even though it has been over a century since her birth, and almost a decade since her death.

Last month alone, Wilson, via her endowment fund, gave almost $40,000 dollars to deliver senior appropriate foods to homebound seniors through The Angel’s Depot in Vista, Fallbrook’s Senior Citizen’s Club, and The Fallbrook Food Pantry.
