The Red Guide to recovery

SAN DIEGO - Vice Chairman and Fifth District Supervisor Bill Horn, along with the Office of Emergency Services (OES), the San Diego/Imperial County Red Cross, and the San Diego Fire Chiefs Association announced Sept. 2, 2010 the release of a new resource guide to assist people to recovering from the devastation of losing their home or business.

The Red Guide to Recovery is a pocket-sized 184-page resource handbook for disaster survivors to help victims cope with the loss and put them back on their feet to rebuild. The booklet is the idea of San Diegan Sean Scott who presented a working copy to...
