The firing of high explosives will be heard from Camp Pendleton during next 24 hours

CAMP PENDLETON - Camp Pendleton units will be firing high-explosive munitions into the Whiskey and Zulu impact areas from 6 a.m. this morning to 6 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday).

Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away....
