JV girls win tennis league opener against Mission Hills

FALLBROOK - Fallbrook High’s JV girls’ tennis coach, Randy Hicks, was feeling reasonably confident about his team’s chances in their league opener against the Mission Hills Grizzlies. Then varsity assistant coach, Linda Johnson, called a few hours before the match to say the varsity team needed to borrow his number one singles player; one of the varsity girls was sick.
