FALLBROOK – County Supervisor Bill Horn and Fallbrook Healthcare District Board President Milt Davies awarded a Certificate of Completion to Nathan Sneller, son of Charlie and Cathy Sneller, for his recent Eagle Scout Project at Fallbrook Hospital. An Eagle project is required by the Boy Scouts of America for a candidate to advance to the rank of Eagle Scout (Scouting’s highest rank).
Snellers project consisted of constructing a new break/rest area at Fallbrook Hospital for patients, visitors and patrons of the facility.
The project called for Sneller to construct two concrete (landscape style) tables with benches in a natural setting of rocks and gravel. He took advantage of the natural landscape and towering pine trees to locate his project west of the front entrance. Hospital CEO Alex Villa was elated to have the addition to the campus for all to use.
Nathan raised over $1,200 to complete the project that took over six weeks of planning. He received cash assistance from 13 different donors for this project. The project took 100 man hours that was provided by 18 volunteers of family, friends and Boy Scouts from Nathan’s Troop 755.
