An eclectic three at Bello Lei Salon

FALLBROOK – Bello Lei Salon is proud to present the artwork of three eclectic local Fallbrook artists: Scott Thom, Ann Kreile and Robert Sommers. The showing is displayed within the three rooms of the salon now through Oct. 31, 2010.

Upon entrance to the salon, guests will enjoy the mystical blended colors of Thom’s acrylic airbrush on canvas. He states, “In my life, I am a father, husband, brother, son, friends, athlete, and artist. All these roles are fundamentally spiritual. The most significant evidence of this is seen through my art.”

The feel-good original watercolors of Ann Kreile are found on display in the shampoo room at the Bello Lei Salon. Kreile is a highly regarded plein air painter in North County San Diego. As a former school teacher in Los Angeles, her teaching fields included art. She has won several awards in local art shows. Kreile’s favorite subjects are flowers and gardens; however, she also enjoys painting landscapes and seascapes. Her other interest is gardening.

Also on display in the Bello Lei Salon is the photography of Robert Sommers. Sommers is a Fallbrook-based writer and photographer and owns the Blue Heron Gallery. He spends his free time hunting wild radishes on the steppes of the Himalayas and listening to Bulgarian choral music. He loves to stay home and play with his three cats, all curiously named Charlie.

The show is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bello Lei Salon, 131 Beech Street, Fallbrook. The salon provides various health and beauty services including, hair, nails, massage, facial treatments, waxing, and make-up for the everyday and special occasions. Artists interested in showing their work at the salon can call (760) 723-9361 or email [email protected]
