Nutall to speak and demonstrate technique at School of the Arts

FALLBROOK – On Oct. 17, the Fallbrook School of The Arts will welcome nationally recognized figurative painter Ted Nuttall from Phoenix, Ariz., who will present a lecture and demonstration from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Nuttall is a graduate of Colorado Institute of Art and an expert people-watcher who has engendered an intuitive ability to capture the quiet, underlying character of his subjects onto his paintings. He has won many awards, including the great honor of being featured in the American Artist magazine in an exclusive article about how teaching has both helped him make the transition into fine art and furthered his career.

The cost of the lecture and demonstration is $25. Guests will see the techniques required in painting from photographs in order to capture the essence of a subject.

Nuttall is also presenting a five-day workshop, which is already sold out. For information on upcoming classes, please visit http://www.fallbrookschoolofthearts.com or call (760) 728-6383. The school of the arts is located at 310 E. Alvarado St., Fallbrook.
