Montion takes focus on gang problems to new level

After serving Fallbrook for 16 years with the Sheriff’s Department, Sgt. Joe Montion has taken on several new roles that he believes will help clean up Fallbrook’s streets, including providing greater focus on gang-related problems.

“After serving Fallbrook for 16 years, I have been assigned to nearly every position in the Fallbrook substation,” said Montion. “Now I have been assigned to be detective sergeant, administrative sergeant and [community-oriented problem solving team] sergeant.”
