Parry wins Fallbrook Rotary service award

FALLBROOK – Walt Parry was named recipient of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook Service Above Self award for the month of August. Parry, chair of the weekly meeting program and speakers becomes chair of manpower for the annual club fundraiser, Lobster on the Green and as such fulfills the responsibility of enrolling the necessary people required by that huge event.

Parry was chosen by his peers as the club member who most represented the Rotary motto of Service Above Self and was presented with the Greg Mortensen book “Three Cups of Tea” by club president Larry Rothacher....
