ESCONDIDO – The Scholarship Foundation, Inc. of the California Retired Teachers Association North San Diego County held its first meeting of the 2010-2011 school year on October 4 at the Joslyn Senior Center in Escondido. The Foundation is comprised of representatives from the three North County divisions of the California Retired Teachers Association (CalRTA): Palomar Division 63, North San Diego County Division 45, and Avocado Division 81 who join together in an effort to provide scholarships for deserving future teachers graduating from North San Diego County high schools.
