ESCONDIDO – The San Diego Senior Olympics in Pickleball was held from September 20 to 23 at Castle Creek Inn and Castle Creek Country Club. Over 125 players came from New Mexico, Arizona, Washington, and all over California to participate in this fast-growing sport. This was the fourth year the Pickleball event was hosted in North San Diego County.
Dennis Dacey and Gail Penacho, pickleball co-commissioners commented, "Everyone looks forward to this tournament because they all have a lot of fun and are amazed at the caliber of players we have in San Diego County."
