Fallbrook team wins 100th Senior Challenge

FALLBROOK – On Sept. 23, the 100th Senior Challenge Cribbage match was played. The Fallbrook Team won the 45 player match with 83 wins to Oceanside’s 78 wins.

Oceanside player Nicki Newvine had the top card with six wins, including two skunks. The next seven players were on the Fallbrook team. Wilf Ash had six wins with one skunk to take second and Mitzi Potwora with six wins and no skunks for third place. In fourth through eighth each with five wins with two skunks were Lee Rutledge, Willie Williams, Barb Sacic, Obie Weeks and Ray Potwora.
