Storybook wedding is a Western

Lori Brown and Patrick Smith were married August 14, 2010, at the Brown Family Ranch in Rainbow. The theme of the wedding was “Old California” and the vibrant colors of bougainvillea plants gave the ranch a peaceful feel. Among the guest list of family and friends, Brown’s equestrian background was well-represented by the Spirit of the West Riders and many members of local mounted shooting clubs. Enough of the local mounted shooting chapters were attending Lori’s wedding that a Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association event was rescheduled from the initially-planned weekend of August 14.
