North County Fire approves multi-year facilities and equipment plan

The North County Fire Protection District (CNFPD) board approved the district’s Multi-Year Facilities and Equipment Plan for revenue from the Fire Mitigation Fee Program.

The August 17 vote projects $75,000 of fiscal year 2010-11 revenue from fees and interest. Because the funding is used for capital improvements, it is not required to be spent in a particular fiscal year, and the facilities and equipment plan includes two expenditures for Fiscal Year 2010-11 with three other expenditures for Fiscal Years 2011-12 through 2013-14.
