Ten Warrior girls top-half finishers at Mount Carmel/Movin' Shoes - Sophomores take hypothetical sixth place

Ten members of Fallbrook High School’s girls cross-country team finished in the top half of their field at the Mount Carmel/Movin’ Shoes Cross-Country Invite meet September 18 at Morley Field in San Diego.

Four of those Warrior girls were sophomores, and while the meet at the Balboa Park course didn’t have official team finishes, the Warriors’ finishes in the sophomore race along with positions of the sophomores from other schools would have scored Fallbrook sixth in that race.

“It was a good day down there,” said Fallbrook head coach Troy Hamlin.
