Australian artist to demonstrate his techniques Oct. 30

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook School of the Arts is proud to present a free painting demonstration by Australian artist Robert Hagan on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at 310 East Alvarado St.

Hagan is a ‘nuts and bolts’ artist of 30 years professional standing who uses just three brushes, six tubes of paint and a stepladder as his easel. At his demonstration, viewers will see him transform a blank canvas to an exciting and colorful expression of a local beach scene of boys fishing “with dogs and birds in attendance… as they always are,” he says.

Expect a funny and extremely interesting 90 minutes of random Aussie chat and storytelling while Hagan whips up a little gem of a painting. Find out more about Hagan by visiting

This event is free and open to the public, but guests must register online in advance at

http://www.fallbrookschoolofthearts.org or call (760) 728-6383 to reserve a spot, as space is limited.
